About
Greenland is the only country on Earth where people live who never knew war.
The wisdom and teachings from this peaceful Eskimo Kalaallit culture, have been kept alive for thousands of years and from generation to generation.
Angaangaq stems from a family of traditional healers & shamans. He has been prepared by his family, in particular his Grandmother Aanakasaa, for the duty as a shaman.
“A Shaman is a person like you or me, a real person amongst real people. A Shaman is a person who lives with full awareness, who has looked at himself in depth and who has journeyed through the three worlds within. He has become complete and thus is able to guide you on your inner path; he is able to help you become aware of your own beauty, to love yourself and arrive home.“
Already in 1975 Angaangaq received the task from the elders to bring the message about the melting of the Big Ice in Greenland to the world. He has been a speaker at conferences on climate change & indigenous affairs around the globe and represented the Arctic people at the UN General Assembly.
His spiritual task given by his mother is “to melt the ice in the heart of man”. “It is easy to melt the ice on the ground. The hardest thing is to melt the ice in the heart of man. Only by melting the ice in the heart of man, man will have a chance to change and use his knowledge wisely.”
