Unique Cohousing project
The abundance of space in this 17th century mansion makes it an ideal cohousing project. Each living unit is large enough to fulfill all basic needs. The common kitchen, various living rooms, wellness facilities and large quiet garden are at everyone's disposition. This ensures the freedom to maintain a healthy balance between privacy and community.
A unique aspect of this cohousing project is the common interest in body, mind and soul wellbeing. This shared vision creates a nourishing environment for all cohousers and a creative possibility for the cohosting of holistic workshops and gatherings.

Co-housing: the essentials
Living in a comfortably historical heritage mansion Leuven isn’t cheap.
Nor is cohousing cheaper than living on your own, but it's much more rewarding!
You gain a vibrant community and shared spaces in return.
We share the running costs and take care of maintenance together.
Regular cleaning is outsourced.
Once a month, we cook and eat together, and we hold a practical “home meeting.”
Everything evolves naturally, depending on everyone’s talents and interests.
Buy, rent, or mix & match?
We are a cooperative: we work together, and we share financially in the costs and benefits.
You can choose how to join:

Buy
You buy shares based on your private space and your share of the common areas.After a minimum investment, you can buy more shares each year, gradually building ownership over time. -
Rent
You rent your private unit at market rates. -
Combine
Mix both options, depending on your financial situation or life stage.
To give you an idea:

if you’d fully buy a whole unit, you’d invest between 350.000 and 700.000 €
-
if you rent, you pay a monthly rent between 600 - 1.200 €
-
In any case, you pay also your share of the ‘running costs’ (maintenance, cleaning, heating, electricity, Wifi, insurances, some furniture and equipment, the gardening, etc. Depending on your unit space, this wil cost between 450 - 600 €/month.
Shared co*living spaces
Each living unit is large enough to fulfill all basic needs, while the common shared spaces offer many extra opportunities for great living:

Monumental kitchen: the Heart of our Home, we can eat or cook there, together or with invitees.

Giant Living Room: for film or yoga evenings, meditation mornings or (preferably BodyHeartSoul enhancing) workshops.

Medium Salon: for coworking, small teamwork or just space to sit with a few friends

Magnificent 28ha garden with different terraces to sit together or apart.
